The Power of the Web!
At our meeting on Tuesday evening, Richard Chadwick from London Midland admitted that it was as a direct response to a request on the Fix My Transport website that the seats were installed a couple of weeks ago on Platform 2. Oh, the power of the web!We pointed out to him that whilst passengers were pleased to be able to sit down whilst waiting for the train, they could only do so in dry weather! So he's now going to see if they can place a shelter over them. That's progress!
